So, after having a pretty pleasant day at uni, even though ICT is insanely off-topic, irrelevant and boring (although blogger did get a shoutout on a video we watched), and SVR makes my head spin, I came home to find that sometime between 1130pm last night, and around 315ish today, my car had been broken into/I may have left the back door unlocked, and BURGLED!
I immediately noticed something was very, very weird when all the bits and pieces from my glove box were strewn all over the front seat, and then I realized that the back door was partly open and that the backseat was rather messy too (more so than usual). I then realized that all three of my iPod transmitters had been stolen, (I'd been testing different ones out in order to successfully play my iPod through my speakers) and that was all that I could point out. UNTIL, later, when I was at home, I realized that my beloved Cranium board game (best game ever) that Zoe gave me for my 18th had been ripped off also!
Anyway, right after I found that this had all happened, I called campus security, and they came over straight away. I told them that I understood that there really wasn't anything that they could do and they took my name and the details of the crime, and, what not. Overall, there really wasn't anything of value that was taken, so, it's not really worth reporting to the police, since, there's nothing they'll be able to do, or actually do, anyway, so, it's not worth the bother.
I really felt quite violated though. It's not nice to think of someone rifling through your car. Little rats. So ticked.
Anyway, life's too short to act like this is the end of the world.
Besides, the playdough in Cranium had gone hard anyway, so, the joke's on them.
